A Sarasota chiropractor who starts with why you hurt.
Patients drive to us from across Sarasota, from Siesta Key to the Fruitville corridor, and the trip up I-75 usually runs shorter than they expect. Almost all of them want the same thing: a straight answer about what is causing the pain. Sometimes that answer is decompression. Sometimes an adjustment. Sometimes it is neither, and if we are not the right fit, Dr. Banman will tell you honestly on the first visit and point you to who is.

What Sarasota chiropractic offices typically don't have.
Most chiropractic clinics in Sarasota offer adjustments and little else. We built Spine and Wellness Center around a different idea: the right treatment for your case is the one we recommend, not the only one we own.
Non-surgical disc decompression
Computer-guided traction on a DOC-20 table. One of the most effective non-surgical options we have for herniated and bulging discs. Most Sarasota patients with sciatica or chronic back pain start here.
See the program→Regenerative medicine
Dr. Banman has integrated regenerative medicine into his practice since 2013, with continued training and trips to Colombia for the latest protocols. The flagship of the clinic for patients exploring options beyond surgery.
See the approach→Scoliosis bracing
Dr. Banman holds master-level scoliosis training and is one of a small number of chiropractors authorized to fit Spinal Technology, Inc. braces. Sarasota families with adolescent or adult scoliosis often have to drive an hour or more to find this; you don't.
See the program→Neuropathy program
Stacked-modality care for peripheral neuropathy. ReBuilder, Class IV laser, EMS, nutritional support. Many patients notice a meaningful change inside 8 to 12 weeks, without surgery.
See the program→Hyperbaric oxygen (HBOT)
Pressurized chamber sessions designed to raise oxygen levels in your tissue and support recovery. Common add-ons with decompression, post-surgical recovery, and chronic-fatigue protocols. Few clinics in Manatee or Sarasota County have one.
See HBOT→Auto and PIP cases
Hit in a car accident in Sarasota or Manatee County? Florida PIP covers the first $10,000 of injury care. We handle the documentation, you focus on getting better. 24-hour response on new auto cases.

What Sarasota patients ask before their first visit.
Are you in-network with my insurance?
We are a cash-pay practice. The only insurance billing we handle is Personal Injury (PI) and auto-injury cases under Florida PIP. If you have commercial insurance or Medicare, you can still come, patients pay cash and the value of the multi-modality program almost always outweighs the convenience of an in-network office that only does adjustments. We are transparent on pricing before you commit.
I was just in a car accident in Sarasota County. Can you see me this week?
Yes. We have 24-hour response on new auto-injury patients. Florida PIP covers the first $10,000 of treatment after a collision regardless of fault. Call us at (727) 213-2982 as soon as possible, the documentation and treatment timeline matters for your claim. See the auto / whiplash page for the full process.
How do I know which therapy is right for me?
You don't, and that's the point of the consultation. Dr. Banman does a thorough exam, X-rays if needed, and reviews your history before recommending anything. The recommendation is based on what your body actually needs, not what we have in the back. Some patients only need adjustments; others need decompression plus laser plus EMS. We match the treatment to the case.
How long is the typical drive from Sarasota?
From downtown Sarasota, 18 to 25 minutes depending on traffic. From University Parkway / Lakewood Ranch border, about 10 minutes. From Siesta Key or Palmer Ranch, 25 to 35 minutes. Almost every patient tells us the drive is shorter than they expected and the clinic is calmer than what they are used to.
Do you treat children, athletes, and seniors?
Yes, care is adjusted for the patient. Pediatric techniques are gentler, athletes get more aggressive recovery work, senior care prioritizes joint mobility and balance. Dr. Banman has 23+ years of experience across all age groups.
What does the first visit look like?
About 45 to 60 minutes. Sit-down consult with Dr. Banman, exam, X-rays if needed, then a sample treatment so you can feel the modality before committing to anything. We schedule your Day-2 visit (the Report of Findings) within 24 to 36 hours. Read the new patient walkthrough for the full step-by-step.
Ready to take the short drive?
